Supervisor Position
Rent a Ski is looking for a supervisor responsible for managing the everyday operations of our jet ski company and training new hires so they can best serve customers.
Key Responsibilities

Enter and maintain reservations through all reservation means being but not limited to, co- workers, walk up customers, Rent a Ski website and social media.

Monitor and adjust fleet availability in rental system to minimize and reduce overbooking.

Fleet familiarization which includes entering and maintaining information in location logs (e.g., unit maintenance), Schedule routine maintenance and unexpected repairs, Damage control – following through with quotations and repairs

Handle and assist with customer relations and reservations; Customer pickup and drop off, customer follow-ups, answer and direct phone calls to appropriate personnel, disclosing rates, terms and conditions of rentals and obtain customer signatures on waiver and rental agreement.

Update daily jet ski hour log

Maintain healthy relationships with villas, hotels and resellers

Retrieve and balance money collected during shift and in petty cash; complete deposit slip, make deposits and secure money in safe.

Maintain cleanliness of the rental office area and perform associated duties.

Perform related responsibilities as assigned or required.

Map education for prohibited and non-prohibited activities.

Commission calculation and disbursement

Train employees on Point of Sale

Assist with product and or material orders (e.g., life vest, POS and retail items)
Training and education
A high school diploma is sufficient to be eligible for this position; however, a college degree or earlier training will supply the candidate to excel in a management position.
Working conditions
Working conditions are generally carried out on or off location at our Walkin Marina Office, conditions vary depending on customer arrangements.
Customer Service Agent (CSA)/ Tour guide
Key Responsibilities

Use a computer-based point of sale system to make reservations and tours

Greet customers and complete necessary rental or pickup information such as disclosing terms and conditions of rental, rates, and obtain customer signature on waiver and rental agreement.

Receive telephone calls and handle customer-related issues; direct other phone calls to appropriate personnel or take messages.

Provide island knowledge to guests including but not limited to knowledge about water, safe zones, slow zones, national parks.

Conduct scheduled tours and give facts and information to guests while jet skiing in a safe informative and efficient environment.

Carry out daily preparation procedures, including but not limited to cleaning, flushing, fueling and fluid checks on jet skis and other equipment.
Training and education
A high school diploma is sufficient to be eligible for this position; however, a college degree or previous training will provide the candidate to excel in a management position. A captain's license and or DECR training is preferred, however this can be requested post probationary period.
